These include, in particular, information about your health and information revealing your political opinions or religious or philosophical beliefs (Art. 9(1) GDPR). We process this data exclusively for training services, to protect your health, for social protection or to protect your vital interests. If we require this information for purposes other than those just mentioned, we will inform you about this in detail before processing this data and will then obtain your explicit consent.

Your rights under the GDPR
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights, which you can assert at any time against the controller named in section 1 of this privacy policy:
Right of access: You have the right to request information from us as to whether and which of your data we process.
Right to rectification: You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data.
Right to erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your data.
Right to restriction: In certain cases, you have the right to request that we only process your data to a limited extent.
Right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transmit your data to you or to another controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data that we base on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Please send your objection to the controller's contact address given above.
When do we delete your data?
We delete your data when we no longer need it or when you instruct us to do so. This means that, unless otherwise stated in the individual privacy notices of this privacy policy, we will delete your data
if the purpose of the data processing has ceased to apply and the legal basis stated in the individual privacy notices therefore no longer exists, e.g.
after the end of the contractual or membership relationship between us (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or
after our legitimate interest in the further processing or storage of your data has ceased to apply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
if you exercise your right to withdraw consent and no other statutory legal basis for the processing within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(b)-(f) GDPR applies,
if you exercise your right to object and there are no compelling legitimate grounds opposing the deletion.
However, if we have to retain (certain parts of) your data for other purposes, for example because tax retention periods (usually 6 years for business correspondence and 10 years for accounting records) or the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims arising from contractual relationships (up to four years) require this, or because the data is needed to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, we will only delete (that part of) your data after these periods have expired. Until these periods expire, however, we restrict the processing of this data to these purposes (fulfillment of retention obligations).
Cloud services
We use cloud services in particular
to store and edit documents,
to send documents by email or to exchange files of any kind,
for our calendar and appointment management,
to prepare and give presentations and to work with spreadsheets,
to publish files of any kind,
for internal and external communication via chats, audio and video conferences.
The software applications we use for these purposes are provided to us by the provider(s) named below on their servers. We access these servers via the internet. Insofar as you transmit your data to us in the course of communicating with us or in other processes explained in this privacy policy, we process this data in the cloud service we use. This means that your data is stored on the servers of the third-party cloud service provider. The third-party providers process usage data and metadata to secure their servers and to optimize their services. In particular, we process and store your contact, customer and contract data.
If we make files of any kind publicly available on our website via the cloud service we use, the respective third-party provider of the cloud service may store cookies on your computer system if you access these files. The service provider may process the data collected in this way in order to analyze your usage behavior or your browser settings.
Please note that, depending on the country in which the service provider named below is based, the data specified below may be transferred to and processed on servers outside the European Union. In this case, there is a risk that the level of data protection required by the GDPR will not be maintained and that the enforcement of your rights will not be possible or will only be possible with difficulty. If the service provider we use offers to process data exclusively within the EU, we intend to process your data exclusively there, insofar as this has not already been implemented.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files consisting of a series of numbers and letters that are placed and stored on the device you use. Cookies are primarily used to exchange information between the device you use and our website. This includes, among other things, the language settings on a website, the login status or the point at which a video was watched.
Two types of cookies are used when you visit our websites:
Temporary cookies (session cookies): These store a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
Persistent cookies: Persistent cookies remain stored even after you close your browser. This allows our website to recognize your computer when you return to our website. These cookies store, for example, information about language settings or login information. In addition, these cookies can be used to record and store your browsing behavior. This data may be used for statistical, marketing and personalization purposes.
In addition to the above classification, cookies can also be distinguished by their purpose:
Necessary cookies: These are cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of our website, to store logins or shopping carts for the duration of your session, or cookies that are set for security reasons.
Statistics, marketing and personalization cookies: These are cookies used for analysis purposes or audience measurement. Such "tracking" cookies may in particular store information about search terms entered or the frequency of page views. In addition, the browsing behavior of an individual user (e.g. viewing certain content, using features, etc.) may be stored in a user profile. Such profiles are used to show users content that matches their potential interests. Where we use services through which cookies are stored on your device for statistical, marketing and personalization purposes, we will inform you about this separately in the following sections of our privacy policy or when obtaining your consent.
Data concerned:
Usage data (e.g. access times, web pages clicked)
Communication data (e.g. information about the device used, IP address).
Data subjects: users of our online services
Purpose of processing: delivering our websites, ensuring the operation of our websites, improving our online services, communication and marketing
Legal basis:
Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
If we do not obtain your consent to the setting of cookies, we base the processing of your data on our legitimate interest in improving the quality and user-friendliness of our website, in particular its content and functions. You can object to the use of the cookies we set on the basis of our legitimate interest via the security settings of your browser. There you can specify, for example, that you do not accept cookies at all or only on request, or that cookies are deleted every time you close your browser. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent.
Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR
If we ask you, before you visit our website, for permission to place certain cookies on your device and you consent to this, the consent you have given constitutes the legal basis. As part of the consent process, we inform you which cookies we set in detail. If you do not give this consent, only the so-called technically necessary cookies are set, which are required for the proper operation of our websites and their display in your browser. If you have consented to the setting of cookies, you can withdraw the consent you have given to us at any time.
Web hosting
We use a provider to host our websites, on whose servers our websites are stored and made available for retrieval on the internet (hosting). In doing so, the provider may process all data transmitted by the browser you use that arises when you use our websites. This includes in particular your IP address, which the provider needs in order to deliver our online services to the browser you use, as well as all entries you make on our website. In addition, the provider we use may collect
the date and time of access to our website
the time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
access status (HTTP status)
the amount of data transferred
the internet service provider of the accessing system
the type and version of the browser you use
the operating system you use
the website from which you may have reached our website
the pages or subpages you visit on our website.
The aforementioned data is stored as log files on our provider's servers. This is necessary to ensure the stability and security of the operation of our website.
Sending emails: In addition to hosting our website, we have also commissioned our provider to send, receive and store our emails. For this purpose, our provider processes the email addresses of recipients and senders as well as other data arising in email communication (meta-communication data such as time, IP address, etc.) and the content of the respective emails. Please note that emails are generally sent unencrypted. We therefore accept no responsibility for the transmission path of emails between the sender and receipt on our server.

Content delivery network
We use a content delivery network (CDN) to deliver our websites. A CDN is a network of regionally distributed servers connected via the internet. The CDN provides scalable storage and delivery capacity. This optimizes the loading times of our websites and ensures optimal data throughput even during heavy load peaks. User requests on our websites are routed via the CDN's servers. Statistics are generated from these data streams. This serves, on the one hand, to detect potential threats to our websites from malware at an early stage and, on the other hand, to continuously improve our offering and make our websites more user-friendly for you.
Please note that, depending on the country in which the service provider named below is based, the data collected via the service may be transferred to and processed outside the European Union. Online advertising
We use services to display online advertising. Certain user data is collected via the services we use by means of a cookie or pixel. This includes in particular information about the website from which you came to our website (so-called referrer), which pages of our website you accessed, how long you visited our pages and which interactions you carried out there. In addition, data about the browser, computer system and type of device you use is collected. Demographic information, such as age or gender, may also be recorded as pseudonymous values via such a service. If you have consented to the collection of your location data, this may also be processed, depending on the provider. To collect and store this data, the respective service places a cookie or a so-called tracking pixel on the device you use, which also collects the IP address assigned to you. However, this is shortened using a so-called IP masking procedure, so that the IP address can no longer be assigned to your visit to our website. In principle, no plain data such as names or email addresses is stored when using the respective service. This is only the case if you are a member of a social network that offers one of the services named below and that network combines your profile with the aforementioned data.
The data is evaluated by the service we use in order to produce a report with statistical information on the number of visitors generated by the advertising and the success of the advertising campaign. Among other things, the reports show the total number of users who were redirected to our website via our ads. In addition, the reports contain information on users' devices and browsers, the locations of users, and the times at which the ad was clicked. However, the reports do not contain any information that could be used to identify you personally as a user of our site.
Please note that, depending on where the service provider is based, the data collected via the service may be transferred to and processed outside the European Union. In this case, there is a risk that the level of data protection required by the GDPR will not be maintained and that the enforcement of your rights will not be possible or will only be possible with difficulty.

Affiliate programs and affiliate links
We use affiliate links and/or other types of affiliate references on our website, for example in the form of search forms, widgets or discount codes. These links and references lead you to offers and services of third-party providers. If you click on one of these links or take advantage of one of these offers, we receive a commission or other benefit from the respective third-party provider.
In order for us to receive our commission, the respective third-party providers must be informed that you have used an affiliate link on our website. For this purpose, the affiliate links used must be tracked and assigned to the respective transactions or other actions carried out, such as purchases. This process is necessary to settle our commission with the third-party provider. The data we collect in this process is stored until final settlement.
To ensure the assignment between affiliate link, transaction and you as a user, the affiliate links we use may be supplemented with certain information. This information may be stored in the link itself or in a cookie. It may include the originating website (referrer), the online identifier of our website, an online identifier of the respective offer, the type of affiliate link used, the type of offer, an online identifier of the respective user and the time the link was used.
Data concerned:
Usage data (e.g. previously visited websites, usage times, interest in content),
Transaction data (e.g. term, customer category, subject matter of the contract),
Communication data and metadata (e.g. IP address, information about the device or computer system)
Purpose of processing: recording which affiliate links embedded on our website were used by our visitors
Legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; performance of a contract and pre-contractual inquiries, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
Withdrawal options: You can deactivate interest-based advertising by adjusting your settings at the following link: http://www.aboutads.info/choices. You can also prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. Cookies that have already been set can be deleted by you at any time.
We use the following affiliate service providers:
Web analytics and statistics
In order to record and statistically evaluate visitor flows on our website, we use web analytics services. Such services collect, among other things, data about the website from which you came to our website (so-called referrer), which pages of our website you accessed, how long you visited our pages and which interactions you carried out there. In addition, data about the browser, computer system and type of device you use is collected. Demographic information, such as age or gender, may also be recorded as pseudonymous values via such a service. If you have consented to the collection of your location data, this may also be processed, depending on the provider.
To collect and store this data, the web analytics service we use places a cookie on the device you use, which also collects the IP address assigned to you. However, this is shortened using a so-called IP masking procedure, so that the IP address can no longer be assigned to your visit to our website. No other plain data such as names or email addresses is stored either. Neither we nor the service we use know the identity of the visitors to our websites.
Please note that, depending on the country in which the service provider named below is based, the data collected via the service may be transferred to and processed outside the European Union. In this case, there is a risk that the level of data protection required by the GDPR will not be maintained and that the enforcement of your rights will not be possible or will only be possible with difficulty.
Data concerned:
Usage data (e.g. access times, web pages clicked)
